Meet Our Experts
Chris Potter
Chris Potter’s career in healthcare began in 1991, working in emergency services and quickly becoming a Paramedic by 1993. Most of his early years were spent on ambulances, where he developed a strong foundation in emergency response and specialized in swift water, dive rescue, and pararescue. Always curious and eager to grow, Chris later returned to college, earning a degree that combined business management and psychology to better understand both the operational and human aspects of healthcare.
Chris went on to become a licensed nurse, focusing on trauma and emergency medicine, and in 2019, earned a master’s degree to become a board-certified Nurse Practitioner. The focus in medicine changed to tertiary care and hospital patient management. This opened the door to new opportunities, including work in men’s and women's health, hormones, and sexual health starting in 2022.
In 2023, Chris joined with Derrick Adams to launch Mygenics Sarasota—now called Eros Vitality—continuing his commitment to advancing men’s and women’s health and wellness. In 2024, Chris joined with three partners to start Synergy Hospital Services in Charlotte County, Florida. Outside of work, Chris enjoys flying, watchmaking, and trading timepieces—a hobby that blends precision, creativity, and a passion for craftsmanship.
Derrick Adams
Dr. Derrick Adams grew up in Florida and graduated from Martin County High School. After obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with Honors from Florida Atlantic University and a Master’s degree in Biology from Columbia University in New York, he entered medical school. He obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Miami and studied Internal Medicine during a residency at the University of Miami as well. Since finishing residency 14 years ago, he has lived and worked in Punta Gorda as a Hospitalist caring for people admitted to the hospital. For the past 10 years he has been the Practice Group Leader for his Hospitalist group comprised of 10 clinicians working at three local hospitals.
He became interested in the anti-aging effects of Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy about four years ago and has since received training in BHRT as well as training in procedures to treat Erectile Dysfunction. “I’ve seen the amazing results firsthand and how these therapies have transformed people’s lives, and I wanted to bring these transformative therapies to the people of my hometown. I love working with each of my clients and hearing how great they feel and how much this has improved their lives."
